AgileMate
Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 July 2026
AgileMate does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no servers and no analytics. Everything you write in the app is stored on your device and stays there. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is shared with us or anyone else.
This policy explains what AgileMate ("the app") does with information when you use it. It applies to the Android and iOS versions of the app published by the developer identified at the end of this page.
What the app stores on your device
AgileMate is a personal facilitation tool. Everything you create is written to a database that exists only in the app's private storage on your device:
- Team names you add
- Team health check ratings and their dates
- Observation and impediment journal entries
- Retrospective action items, including any owner name and due date you enter
- Coaching questions and estimation scales you write yourself
- Retrospective formats you build yourself
- App preferences such as language and appearance
We never see any of it. The app has no backend service to send it to, and no code in the app transmits this information anywhere.
What leaves your device
Only what you deliberately send, and only where you send it:
- Exports and backups. When you export retrospective actions, health results or journal notes, or create a backup file, the app writes a file and hands it to your device's own share sheet. You choose the destination — an email, a messaging app, your own cloud storage, or nowhere at all. The app does not upload the file and does not know where it goes.
- Purchases. If you buy AgileMate Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play (or the App Store on iOS). The app talks to the store's billing service only when you open the purchase screen or tap "restore purchase". We never see or receive your payment details — the app is told only whether a purchase exists.
What the app does not do
- No analytics or usage tracking of any kind
- No crash or error reporting services
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers
- No accounts, sign-in, or user profiles
- No contacts, location, camera, microphone or calendar access
- No cookies or web tracking
- No sale or sharing of personal information — we hold none to sell or share
The app works fully offline. You can put the device in airplane mode on first launch and every feature except purchasing will work, because the content library ships inside the app itself.
Permissions
The Android build declares a small set of permissions that come from the app framework it is built on. None of them are used to collect information about you:
- Internet. Required by the store billing service. No other part of the app opens a network connection.
- Storage (Android 12 and earlier). Used only to save an export or backup file that you asked for. On Android 13 and later this permission is not requested at all.
- Vibrate. Used for touch feedback.
Children
AgileMate is a professional tool for people who facilitate team meetings. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays on your device until you remove it. You can delete individual notes, action items, health checks, teams and custom formats inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes the entire database from your device.
Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf, and no request you need to send us to have it erased.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and Turkey's KVKK give you rights over personal data held about you — access, correction, erasure, portability and objection. AgileMate holds no personal data about you on any system we control, so these rights are satisfied directly on your device: the data is already in your hands, you can correct or delete it at any time, and the backup feature exports all of it in a readable JSON file you own.
If you enter another person's name in an action item or a note, that information also stays on your device only, and you remain in control of it.
Changes to this policy
If the app's behaviour changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on the store listing.
